We set up your IFTA license, order your decals, and file your quarterly fuel-tax returns for you — miles and fuel reconciled by jurisdiction and filed on time across all 48 IFTA states.

One IFTA license, two decals per truck, and quarterly fuel-tax returns reconciled by jurisdiction — filed on time across all 48 IFTA states, by the team 2,000+ fleets have trusted since 2019

What is IFTA?

The International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) is an agreement among the 48 contiguous US states that simplifies fuel-use tax reporting for carriers who run across jurisdictions. Instead of filing separately in every state, you get a single IFTA license from your home (base) jurisdiction and file one quarterly return; your base jurisdiction collects the tax and redistributes it to the others. You carry a copy of the IFTA license in the cab and display two decals on each qualified vehicle.

Do I need IFTA?

If you operate a qualified motor vehicle across two or more IFTA jurisdictions, you need IFTA. A vehicle is qualified if it has a gross vehicle or combination weight over 26,000 lbs, or has three or more axles regardless of weight. Run interstate without a valid IFTA license and current decals and you risk fines, citations, and paying for a fuel trip permit at every state line.

How does quarterly filing work?

Every quarter you report the miles driven and the fuel purchased in each jurisdiction. IFTA nets what you owe or are credited, based on each jurisdiction's tax rate and your fuel use there. Returns are due April 30, July 31, October 31 and January 31 — miss one and penalties and interest start right away. We take your mileage and fuel records, run the apportionment, and file the return for you — accurately and before the deadline.

What do you need from me to file?

Just your ELD or GPS mileage summary and your fuel receipts for the quarter — plus your IFTA account details the first time. We reconcile the miles and fuel by jurisdiction and file the return; you never touch a spreadsheet.

Can you fix a late or incorrect IFTA return?

Yes. We file amended returns, add missed miles or fuel, respond to jurisdiction notices, and bring a behind account current — so you're compliant again without the back-and-forth.

How much does IFTA filing cost?

Government fuel taxes and state fees are billed at exact cost — no markup. Our service fee is quoted up front, with no surprises. Call us for a quote based on your fleet size.

New IFTA License & Decals

We open your IFTA account in your base jurisdiction, file for the license, and order the two decals required on each qualified vehicle — so you're road-legal for interstate fuel tax. Government fees are billed at exact cost, with no markup.

Quarterly Fuel-Tax Returns

We collect your mileage and fuel-purchase records, reconcile them by jurisdiction, calculate the net tax, and file every quarterly return before the deadline — so you're never hit with a late penalty on our watch. Send us your ELD or GPS mileage summary and your fuel receipts — we do the rest.

Annual Renewal & New-Year Decals

We track your IFTA renewal date, file the renewal, and get your new-year decals ordered before the grace period ends — so your trucks keep running without a lapse.

IFTA Services Offered

Everything across the lifecycle of your IFTA account — one point of contact for all of it:

  • IFTA New Account: First-time IFTA license setup in your base state — license and decals ordered and delivered.
  • Fuel Trip Permits: Not IFTA-licensed yet, or running an occasional out-of-base trip? We pull the single-trip fuel permit so you stay legal without a full account.
  • Quarterly Return Filing: Mileage and fuel reconciled by jurisdiction, net tax calculated, return filed before the deadline.
  • Zero & No-Op Returns: A quarter with no interstate miles still needs a return. We file your zero returns on time so a quiet quarter never turns into a penalty.
  • Surcharge-State Filing (KY, IN, VA): Kentucky, Indiana and Virginia add a fuel surcharge on top of the tax — a common miscalculation. We compute and file it correctly.
  • Decal Orders & Replacements: Additional or replacement decals for new or existing trucks in your fleet.
  • Annual License Renewal: Renewal filed and new-year decals ordered before the deadline, with no lapse in coverage.
  • Amended Returns & Corrections: Fix a filed return, add missed miles or fuel, or respond to a jurisdiction notice.
  • IFTA Audit Support: Records review, mileage and fuel reconciliation, and audit-response coordination.
  • IRP + IFTA Together: Set up your apportioned plates and your IFTA fuel-tax license in one coordinated filing — the two core credentials for interstate operation.

Base State Coverage

We file in all 48 contiguous states. Based in one state but running in twenty? That's routine for us — we know the base-jurisdiction process and paperwork wherever your fleet is registered.
